K.K. Downing will join forces with Megadeth’s David Ellefson and two of his ex-Judas Priest band mates plus for a very special show this autumn.
Taking place at Downing’s titular venue, K.K.’s Steel Mill, in Wolverhampton on Sunday 3rd November, the unique concert is the opening date of Ellefson’s More Live With Deth Tour.
Ellefson has confirmed two dates in the UK - K.K.’s Steel Mill and Camden Undeworld on Monday 4th November – as part of his European solo tour, featuring a full band playing songs from his recent solo release Sleeping Giants, and other metal classics.
Making the Wolverhampton date extra special, following the set from Ellefson’s Sleeping Giants band there will be a full performance of Judas Priest classics with K.K. Downing, former Priest drummer Les Binks, and ex-vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens.
Former Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley will also open proceedings on the night.
As if that wasn’t enough to tempt you, K.K.’s Steel Mill will also host a special pre-show VIP event where fans can attend a book signing event for Ellefson’s recently-released autobiography ‘More Life With Deth’.
There will be a one-on-one Q&A session with Ellefson, Downing and co-author Thom Hazaert, helmed by Mark Eglinton who co-authored K.K. Downing’s candid memoir ‘Heavy Duty Days and Nights in Judas Priest’
